Tindall Fields (Phase 2)

Tindall Fields (Phase 2) is a 65 unit general family apartment community that is currently under construction as part of the replacement for the old Tindall Heights property which was built in the 1940's. Studies indicated that the Tindall Heights property was better to be replaced than to be remodeled.

This phase is a mixture of 2-, and 3-bedroom apartments that are modern in every way from spacious living areas, to open floor plans, and high effcieicny construction. Tindall Fields is located at 1859 Tindall Avenue in Macon, Georgia.

All phases of Tindall Fields will help fill the affordable housing need in Macon-Bibb. One more phase of construction will immediately follow this phase and is expected to be completed by the end of 2021.

Phase 2 of Tindall Fields is currently seeking the EarthCraft Multifamily certification as part of the plan to build sustainable and energy efficient housing. The property will have 22 duplex style apartments, two (2) six-unit buildings, and one (1) nine-unit building.

On Wednesday, Febraury 12th, Synergy went on site to do a preliminary attic inspection to verify that attic penetrations were properly sealed to help make sure that the apartments would be properly air sealed when performing the blower door test for air infiltration. While there, it was clear that some of the first few buildings will soon be ready for final inspections and testing. Not too long after that, the first units will be ready for new residents to occupy their new homes.

This community is located near the Mercer University Macon Campus and Mercer University School of Medicine. Because of this location, Tindall Fields is only a few minutes drive from local services like dining, medical care, banking, shopping, places of worship, legal services, as well as other community and professional services.

Tindall Fields is just a few blocks from easy access to I-75 offering easy access to the greater Macon area and is only minutes from downtown services and businesses.

The photo gallery will provide photos throughout the construction process from start to finish to help demonstrate the effort such a project requires.

Synergy's only role at Tindall Fields is to provide EarthCraft Technical advisory, inspection, and testing services. We have no other role in this project.
