Since opening in 2012, Synergy Custom Services has had the privilege of working with quality developers, architects, engineers, general contractors, and sub-contractors. Because of this privilege, we have been part of certifying many beautiful renovation, new construction, and adaptive reuse apartment communities. With each of these communities, we were able to be a part of HELPING KEEP AFFORDABLE HOUSING AFFORDABLE.
These days, affordable housing is NOT what we used to know of as "The Projects." If you are too young to remember "The Projects," they were known as housing that was both low rent and low quality. Affordable Housing today is high quality and energy efficient in multiple ways. On top of quality housing, the properties Synergy works with offers such amenities as playgrounds, community gardens, walking paths, and community centers that offer a host of opportunities for residents. Some of these opportunities include a computer center, fitness center, community kitchen, other recreation opportunities.
To provide a record of what Synergy has certified, we could produce a list of every property, its location, and date completed. However, we believe that it would tell only a small part of the story. We wanted to tell the whole story.
To see the name Cotton Mill Lofts, located in Hawkinsville, Georgia, and that it was completed in 2013, would not even come close to telling the real story. In the menu above, go to the projects completed in 2013, find Cotton Mill Lofts, and read about that great property. The same with Hunt School Village. Certified in 2017, you'll find out that part of the property is new construction apartments while another part of the property is part of the former Henry A. Hunt School in Macon, Georgia. You will also read something about the man behind the name and the reason why this is a special property.
You could look at Griner Gardens in Nashville, Georgia, or The Villages at Blackshear in Blackshear, Georgia, or Wisteria Gardens in Newnan, Georgia. The list of properties can go on and on. These properties, or their location, may not have a storied history, but each has its own special place in its community. Each fills a need for people to have a comfortable, safe, and affordable place to live. Each apartment community helps make life a little better for each resident living there.
Some of the projects that we certified are not on these pages. It is not because they are not as worthy as these. It is because the idea to create a short web page about them did not happen until after the project was completed, and no good photos (besides those for the certification documentation) exist. There is no project that we helped certify that is not brag-worthy in one way or another.
