Ed began his career in Building Science in 2009 working for a company called Energy RaterCorp. At the end of 2011, he left Energy RaterCorp to start Synergy Custom Services (originally known as Synergy Home Advantage). Prior to that, Ed was a certified residential real estate appraiser... first in Florida and then Georgia.

Ed maintains the following certifications:

  • RESNET Home Energy Rater
  • EarthCraft Technical Advisor

Ed is also credentialed as:

  • ENERGY STAR® Partner

When Ed is not working, he enjoys spending time with his wife and children as well as friends. One of his favorite pastimes is cooking (especially on the grill). On any given week, you will find him over the grill at least once.

Besides cooking, Ed likes to spend time watching movies and catching the occasional Baseball game. He is a big Cubs fan and really enjoyed following them through the 2016 season all the way to the World Series.

He also likes getting out hunting when time allows. He especially loves enjoying the peace of the great outdoors and what he is able to discover and learn in nature.

Finally, Ed likes to dabble with amateur photography and videography.
